As we mentioned last week, The Ying Yang Twins appeared on "Dr. Phil" this past Monday to take part in the ongoing debate surrounding the fashion trend of "baggy pants" and the effects it has on how you are perceived by others. I’m still trying to get the video but surprisingly Kaine and D-Roc were at odds with each other on the issue. “I really do dislike people who have their drawers all showing,” D-Roc
says. “I wear too-big pants, but having it off my behind? No. My mama
raised me right. I wear my pants above my waist. Kaine is like total
opposite of me on the topic.”
Kaine responded with “I wear the baggy pants,” Kaine says. “If I choose to show my boxers a
little bit, so what? I’m grown. You can wear your clothes like you want
to wear them.” I’m going to have to side with Kaine on this one. During the episode, Ying Yang go on how they never sag their pants and their fashion sense is a good role model for the kids before getting into a heated debate. I think people should wear whatever they want. Except Emo kids. What Dr. Phil really needs to be doing is a "Guys who wear eyeliner…and like it" episode.

The Ying Yang Twins will appear on an episode of the famed daytime show "Dr. Phil" to debate against the recent anti-pants sagging campaign that has hit numerous cities across the nation. In October of 2007 a group called the Hip-Hop Government launched its “Pull ‘Em Up” campaign against the fashion trend of sagging jeans and exposed boxer shorts. This included numerous billboards and messages implying that the sagging pants looks was inappropriate.
It’s strange though that no group has ever complained about the female thong and low-rise jean trend that hit a couple years back. But I’m not complaining. However there should be a movement to stop females from wearing UGGS ever again. In case you are unemployed or just don’t got sh!t to do…check out the Ying Yang Twins battling it out with Dr. Phil on Monday January 28th. Via: XXL

Melee Entertainment, the film production company responsible for You Got Served and Friday is still trying to make their film project with the Ying Yang Twins a reality. Viagra Falls, which stars Kaine and D. Roc of the Ying Yang Twins has been in development for the past three years but still has not made its way to actual filming. Production of the film has been delayed twice and although Melee has the film still slated for a 2008 release, there are doubts it will ever happen.
For those of you who remember WAY back when this project was first announced, Viagra Falls is the story of two friends in Atlanta with low-paying jobs who are trying to make their way to Spring Break in Daytona Beach, FL. But plans change when a box of Viagra falls into their laps. How their plans change, I do not know. We currently have a call out to Melee President Bryan Turner to get an update on this film and his upcoming projects. For those real hip-hop heads out there, yes Bryan Turner is the same Bryan Turner that created Priority Records in the 80′s and found and signed a little rap group out of Compton known as N.W.A. And knowing is half the battle!
