I was afraid that Xzibit would have a minor role in the upcoming movie X-Files: I Want to Believe but it turns out that he actually gets a fair amount of screen time
with Mulder and Scully. Here is the brand new trailer to the movie that
was just released yesterday and shows some more scenes with Xzibit.
Sorry folks, no aliens this time.

X-zibit in new “X-Files” movie

It’s confirmed. Xzibit will be playing alongside Mulder and Scully in the new X-Files movie scheduled to come out on July 25, 2008. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will be back and Xzibit will be joining the alien-hunting posse as a fellow member of the FBI. Xzibit’s schedule freed up after the Oliver Stone film Pinkville was delayed due to the writers strike. Filming for X-Files begins next month in Vancouver. Time for some aliens to get a piece of the X-to-the-Z!

As quick as we announced Xzibit joining the cast of Oliver Stone’s film Pinkville, we now take it back. United Artists, the studio that is distributing Pinkville announced that they are putting the film on hiatus due to the current writers strike affecting Hollywood. Although the script is in, revisions were necessary and writers on strike means no script revisions.
