Guess who’s back? Back again.

Hello my fellow WoooHah-ians. Yeti here back from a much needed vacation. Things I did this past Memorial Day weekend:

-Watched the Lakers lose (my prediction of Lakers in 6 still stands)
-Went to the beach…in 60 degree weather
-Saw Indiana Jones (I guess that Jim Jones campaigning worked)
-Planned some great stuff for WoooHah.com.

Ironically, with the time I spent on vacation and away from the computer I was actually able to think up some great ideas for the site to take it to the next level. You will see! I am still determined to make WoooHah.com the #1 site for hip-hop entertainment, business and fashion news! Thanks to all our loyal WoooHah readers and fellow blog supporters.

We got some big things poppin’ starting tomorrow including better graphics, monthly updates of the infamous Top 40 Urban blogs and more in depth coverage of hip-hop trends. As always, feel free to hit me up at editor@wooohah.com if you have any questions or comments.

BPI Urban Blog Heat Seekers coming!

The Blog Performance Indicator (BPI) scores for the top 40 urban blogs was a huge success. Although there were some complaints (many valid) we received over a total of 300 e-mails in regards to urban bloggers wanting to know their BPI scores and how to up their game. While the BPI score is just a tool and one of many ways to measure the "success" of a blog, more important, it really showed the power that urban/hip-hop blogs have in today’s society…

The Blog Performance Indicator (BPI) measures a percentage of Alexa traffic, Technorati score, Digg,
del.icio.us, RSS feeds, social bookmarking reader usage and how much
the site has grown in the past month and compares it vs. other "similar
category" blogs.

The BPI is the most accurate
measurement of how one blog performs vs. another and the competition as
a whole. Over 100 active hip-hop blogs (min. one post a week) were rated with over 3,000 active hip-hop blogs found in the nation. The lower the BPI and any index numbers the better.

Site Meter traffic tool embraces hip-hop blogs

Although the web traffic counter tool Site Meter is used by thousands of the most popular blogs and websites around the globe, it’s nice to know that they care about us little people as well. And by little people I mean me. Site Meter is also used by many of today’s largest hip-hop blogs (shown above…with mine thrown in for gratuitous self advertising) but for some reason they approached me for an interview to get an inside look on a "rising" hip-hop site. Even though a lot of website platforms and tools might discredit hip-hop blogs…Site Meter is actually one to fully embrace the movement.

Help Bishop Don Magic Juan save Britney Spears

I know this video has been out for a minute but I still need to share
it. As Bishop Don Magic Juan has stated multiple times, for some
strange reason he is set on saving Britney Spears from…herself. The
Bishop, who is most known for his over zealous pimp gear and for
