T.I. locking in movie role in “Bone Deep”

That was quick. Just a couple of weeks off house arrest and saying that he has lost multiple film deals and his GM deal, T.I. is already in final stages of negotiations to star in the Sony Screen Gems heist movie Bone Deep. Movie currently stars Matt Dillon and Idris Elba and is described as Heat meets Ocean’s 11. I always thought of this movie more like Jaws meets Sex And The City. I wonder if carrying a gun with stage blanks is a violation of T.I.’s parole. Otherwise he will have to stick to those chains to defend himself. Via: AJC

T.I. officially loses General Motors deal

The Atlanta Journal Constitution recently had an interview with T.I. in which he revealed he has lost his multi-million dollar promotional deal with General Motors along with countless movie deals due to his arrest.

Q. You had a very prominent car endorsement deal.
T.I. Sure. GM.
Q. Is that still in effect?
T.I. Nah. GM had to back up off of me. There are films that I missed
out on. Not speaking of, of course, shows. Tours. Tons of business.
I’ve probably lost about $10 to $12 million dollars.

Along with losing the GM deal, T.I. had his production deal under Grand Hustle Entertainment at New Line Cinema indefinitely postponed, and lost a leading role in the movie Once Was Lost alongside Danny Glover. But not is all lost for Clifford. He already has various TV and film deals back in the works.

T.I. executive produces reality TV show

Although T.I.’s Grand Hustle film deal with New Line Cinema is in jeopardy  due to the film studio’s demise, T.I. is still doing his thing and is attached to the reality TV show "Life on Mars" as executive producer. Show follows the daily life of emerging Los Angeles producer Mars. Some sources are saying this show has a lot of heat behind it with interest by all the major networks, but our WoooHah.com sources tell us that no network has committed yet. As we mentioned before, many reality TV shows get signed up by networks but hardly any actually make it on air.

T.I. and Dr. Dre film production deals in danger

Rumors have been running around Hollywood for the past couple of weeks that New Line Cinema home of Lord of the Rings, Austin Powers and Rush Hour might be bought out by parent company Time Warner and absorbed into Warner Brothers. New Line, who always prided themselves on the cutting edge, has been one of the strongest studio supporters of bringing hip-hop into the film industry. They will be releasing Andre 3000′s Semi-Pro and Mos Def’s Be Kind Rewind in the next two months and were the first ones to give the Hughes Brothers a chance in 1993 on a little film called Menace II Society.

Exclusive: T.I. dropped from next movie

No this isn’t a photo of T.I. in jail. But it very well could be in a couple of days. As we reported just two days ago, T.I.’s film career could obviously be in danger due to his impending jail sentence. While his film projects were in the early stages of development with New Line Cinema, T.I. was supposed to co-star with Danny Glover in the film Once Was Lost which was separate from the New Line deal.


Well as we predicted the fallout is already happening. Kelly Crean, The President of Creanspeak Productions, the company that is producing Once Was Lost, exclusively revealed to us that T.I. is no longer participating in this film. In an e-mail to us Kelly said:

"Thanks for your email.  Actually, TI is no longer attached to Once Was Lost and we have been talking to a couple of other actors…"
