Talib Kweli joins cast of “The Vapors”

Another cast member can be confirmed for The Vapors movie. In a recent interview with Sohh.com, Talib Kweli said "…they cast me to pay Scott La Rock in The Vapors movie, so watch for that." Talib will make his feature film acting debut (he played himself in Brown Sugar) as the former Boogie Down Productions DJ who ultimately was shot and killed in 1987.

Seems like The Vapors is getting more and more heat behind it. Cuba Gooding Jr. is confirmed to play
Marley Marl, Clifton Powell as Mr. Magic, Jackie Long as Big Daddy Kane, Evan Ross as MC Shan and Keke Palmer will be Roxanne Shante. We also reported the rumor yesterday that Nas might play Kool G. Rap. More to come as the casting wave continues.
