Soulja Boy makes own “Cribs” style home video

The only reason I can assume Soulja Boy made this video based off the MTV show "Cribs" is because his house…excuse me…his one bedroom condo in Chicago probably didn’t qualify to make it on MTV. I’m sorry but showing off your green Xbox 360 is not Crib worthy. I know them Soulja Boy fans are saying he is mocking it all…but take a look for yourself. He seems to be taking himself PRETTY seriously. Just no one throw rocks through his window while screaming "I hate Soulja Boy" please. YOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUU should keep the peace.

Souja Boy introduces his S.O.D. clothing line

Although it’s hard to tell if he’s speaking English in this video, apparently Soulja Boy is boasting about his upcoming S.O.D. Money Gang clothing line. In a recent video clip shown here, Soulja Boy appears to be in his bedroom claiming he has a shoe deal with the sneaker brand Yums and proceeds to boast "I got my own shoes." The funny thing though is Soulja Boy makes it sound (and is very convincing) that he actually had something to do with the creation and design of these sneakers. He even goes so far as saying that one of the colors is his official S.O.D. crew sneaker.

The reality? Every sneaker that he presents as his own in this video have been available since November of 2007. While Soulja Boy does have a deal with Yums, the deal calls for his promotional efforts including wearing the Yums brand gear at various events, concerts and appearances but he never had any input on the brand. I’m not hating on him because you got to respect his hustle at such a young age…but promoting a product is not the same as actually having your name on the product. Want to know more about Yums? ESPN hosts Soulja Boy Super Bowl Dance Challenge

As part of the upcoming Super Bowl kick-off celebrations in Phoenix, AZ, ESPN will be hosting a Soulja Boy "Crank Dat" dance challenge featuring star athletes the day before the big game on Feb 2nd (Super Bowl on Feb 3rd). Soulja Boy will be performing his hit song "Crank Dat" as select athletes will be competing for the "Crank Dat" Dance Champion title. You know the world is coming to an end when you hear news like this. It says so in the Bible. "The world must endeth when The Soulja Boy Dance Competition cometh." Only Big Baby Jesus and U-God can save us now.

Soulja Boy’s “YAHH!” t-shirt

Similar to Barry Bonds and Al Queda terrorists, people love to hate Soulja Boy….but you have to give him his proper dues for getting this far. And he’s making a killing off his merchandise as well. So in celebration of his new single "YAHH!" Soulja Boy is also selling this extremely high concept art designed t-shirt to promote the single.  This time, instead of teaching the youth of America a new dance, Soulja Boy is teaching kids to yell as loud as they can in the face of adults.
