Russell Simmons wants to make biopic film on Reverend Run

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Russell Simmons announced yesterday at the Media and Money conference in New York that he wants to make a movie about Reverend Run from Run-DMC using the same team that films the MTV show "Run’s House."

I’m sure Reverend Run has a great story to tell on film…but it also helps that he is the younger brother of Russell. This is really early talk so it still would be awhile before a script or studio is attached. Russell left off saying that "it’s gonna make a lot of money." A lot is such a relative term. To me a lot of money is like a $20 bill in my wallet. To Russell it’s probably $20 million.
