Nick Cannon goes thug life in “Ball Don’t Lie”

So that’s why Mariah married Nick Cannon. We all know she likes her guys with a lil thug-attitude. Well Nick has had time to Tupac-ify himself for the upcoming streetball movie Ball Don’t Lie which is about a white street ball player who sees basketball as his only way out. Movie also stars Ludacris while Nick Cannon plays a street tough guy named Mico. "Hey Nick! Nice set of TATS you got there!" Ball Don’t Lie ironically played alongside Mariah’s movie Tennessee at the Tribeca Film Festival this past week.

Nick Cannon shows serious side in movie “American Son”

Along with the many others from the urban music community, Nick Cannon has been busy at Sundance the past two weeks promoting his new film. American Son (first official photo above) is about a young Marine (Cannon) who falls into a forbidden romance during a four-day Thanksgiving leave, shows off Cannon’s serious side and acting abilities. Definitely a step away from what we are used to from MTV’s "Wild N Out" or even the smart ass routine in Drumline.
Instead of partying it up at Sundance like usual, Cannon told MTV "This time, I’ve settled in a little bit, and it’s all about the work." No details yet on the release date of American Son but it did receive rave reviews at Sundance and was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize. Make sure to also check out Nick later this year in the upcoming basketball movie Ball Don’t Lie which also stars Ludacris.

Nick Cannon’s PNB Clothing Line

Nick Cannon, here at his PNB Booth at the MAGIC clothing show, has been busy working on all his MTV shows, film career and the PNB Clothing line which he resurrected from the dead. I can’t hate on Nick for his entreprenural success because he has done well. This is one of the rare cases where I would say he should stick to his TV/Film production and development and his clothing line as well and STAY AWAY from making music.
Ever since Cannon took over as creative director for PNB, the clothing line has seen tremendous success in making a name for itself once again in the hip-hop industry. For those who don’t remember, PNB started in the early 80′s out of New York City and was an early trendsetter for the graffiti street wear movement. Check out their official site to see the full line of men’s and women’s clothing and images of Snoop in PNB clothing with half naked ladies. Awesome.
