Daz films strip club movie “Make It Rain”

In a recent interview with Hip Hop DX, Daz Dillinger of Tha Dogg Poud fame was tired of waiting for Hollywood, so he decided to make his own movie. "Wouldn’t nobody put me in movies so I went and made my own" said Daz. And the movie he is talking about is called Make It Rain, a strip club tale about an Atlanta commissioner bent on closing down all the strip clubs in town. Movie will go straight-to-DVD. On the other hand, Daz’s partner Kurupt has been in a bunch of Hollywood movies including the upcoming Days of Wrath.

Bow Wow quits rapping to be a full-time actor

Bow Wow has officially quit the music business to concentrate full-time on his acting career. "After 16 years in the music industry and six successful albums, I’ve decided to shift my energy to something else I’m passionate about, acting," said Bow Wow. "I’m going to try to be the next Will Smith." Bow Wow is currently filming the basketball film Patriots with Lil’ Wayne, which is not the sequel to Like Mike.

Clearly there is an audience that both can’t wait for this movie to come out and who can’t wait to rip on it. Video: New “Righteous Kill” trailer has no 50 Cent

Overture Films has just released this new trailer to the crime thriller Righteous Kill. The interesting thing is that the teaser trailer and earlier campaign featured 50 Cent but now they have cut him out. Smart move if you ask me. This really isn’t a 50 Cent movie and there kinda sorta are two big time Academy Award winners that should get the attention. Righteous Kill comes to theaters Sept. 12th.
