LL Cool J releases clothing line for Sears

LL Cool J will be releasing a clothing line specifically for the Sears department store. Clothing line will not be under his Todd Smith line but rather will be called the creative name of LL Cool J for Sears. Line will include casual wear for juniors, young men and women and a women’s line as well and will be priced at $20-$50. LL had the following to say about his new venture with Sears and women’s clothing…
LL Cool J launches Boomdizzle.com

LL has announced the launch of Boomdizzle.com an online community targeting aspiring artists who can mix and share their music with others. There has been an onslaught of these hip-hop artist supported sites popping up on the internet now which shows that even old school artists like LL Cool J have now fully embraced the power of the internet. Boomdizzle will feature sections where you can mix other artist songs, battle head-to-head and find the inside story on how artists made it big. No word yet on when the official launch will happen.
LL Cool J unveils his Todd Smith clothing line

LL Cool J unveiled his Todd Smith clothing line (named after himself) in Los Angeles this past Saturday at Macy’s. Even though it was right here in my hood unfortunately I was not able to attend the event because 1. I don’t shop at Macy’s 2. I wasn’t invited. It’s interesting that when LL released his original Todd Smith line back in the days it was all about the high end fashion with shirts and ties, dinner jackets, etc. Now the look is definitely more street wear with the usual hoodies, t-shirts, etc. More pics after the jump.
What you think? Is the Todd Smith collection a good look or just plain ordinary? How many more hip-hop artists do you think will come out with a clothing line this year?
Pepsi Superbowl Ad w/ Busta Rhymes, LL Cool J, Missy Elliott
I’m having some trouble trying to understand why Busta Rhymes, LL Cool J and Missy Elliott would agree to do this new Diet Pepsi Max ad that will premiere during The Super Bowl. I have a feeling it has to do with money. Lots of it. It’s the only explanation because they seem so out of place. See for yourself and let me know what you think. Via: Nah Right
