Jim Jones helps out his brotha Indiana Jones

Jim Jones is helping out his brotha from anotha motha Indiana by trying to attract the "urban" demographic to see Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull this weekend. Jim Jones and Ashanti will be performing at 106 & Park’s "The Adventures of 106 & Indiana Jones" TV special which airs tomorrow on BET. It’s interesting that Paramount is spending the money on an "urban" campaign for such a big and broad film. It would be like DMX performing for the Speed Racer campaign.
Jim Jones reality show “Keepin’ Up With the Jones’”

If Snoop, Rev Run, Salt-N-Pepa and even Irv Gotti can do it, why can’t Jim Jones? BET ran a great article awhile ago about Jones’ current spats with VH1 producers for his reality show "Keepin’ Up With the Jones.’" Due to constant arguments with producers, Jones’ reality show, which was originally supposed to air with "Gotti’s Way" and "The Salt-N-Pepa Show," has been put on hold. Filming has been complete for awhile now, but as any producer in reality TV knows, it’s all in the editing and Jones had issues early on with the thin line between true reality and scripted reality programming.

Jim Jones’ clothing line. Like Hot Topic. But cooler.

As a member of The Dip Set, Jim Jones always had interesting taste in fashion. It was no surprise then that in mid-May he announced his clothing line called Nostic. Nostic goes along the rocker/hip-hop trend with a goth edge and has been gaining some heat in the urban fashion scene. No bright shiny pink or orange colors here. Just like Fabolous’ Rich Yung line, distribution is limited to select regional boutique stores and online sites. Check out some of his shirts and hoodies (old and new) here…
