Disney of all studios is the one spawning all of these music videos based on their upcoming film Step Up 2 The Streets. Missy Elliott with two videos and her 3-D video, Flo-Rida and now Cassie. I would expect this from Universal but not Disney. Since they have the kid and tween music market locked maybe they are gonna go after hip-hop now. Anyways, here is Cassie’s new video to "Is It You?" which features plenty of scenes from the upcoming movie.

Warning: Step Up 2 The Streets contains numerous dance battles in the rain. I’m still confused why all these hip-hop movies gotta have dancing in the pouring rain…like the very awkward dance Omarion dance scene in You Got Served. I’m pretty familiar with the b-boy and hip-hop dance crew scene and I have never not once seen a battle in the rain. Anyways, here are two new photos of good ol Cassie Ventura AKA Cassie from Step Up 2 The Streets. She plays pretty little princess Sophie, a ballet dancer with some attitude. Check out the pcis after the jump. Movie comes out this Valentine’s Day.

Finally! Next to Dr Dre’s "Detox" album and the return of Eminem, the unveiling of the Step Up 2 The Streets movie poster is next on the list of most anticipated hip-hop moments of 2008. Movie comes out this Valentines Day and is the perfect way to say "I love you" to your significant other. Surprisingly though there are a couple of good things going for this movie. It features Diddy’s friend-girl Cassie, and it also brought us Flo-Rida’s Nelly-like song "Low." As we announced a couple weeks back, Cassie (Diddy’s recent girl-toy) is starring in the sequel Step Up 2: The Streets which opens in theaters Valentine’s Day 2008. Here are the first two official photos of Cassie from the movie where she plays a ballet dancer going to school. Judging from the trailer here, Cassie was not hired for her acting abilities. She was clearly hired because she is a great ballet dancer…either that or because she’s hot.
