Bow Wow quits rapping to be a full-time actor

Bow Wow has officially quit the music business to concentrate full-time on his acting career. "After 16 years in the music industry and six successful albums, I’ve decided to shift my energy to something else I’m passionate about, acting," said Bow Wow. "I’m going to try to be the next Will Smith." Bow Wow is currently filming the basketball film Patriots with Lil’ Wayne, which is not the sequel to Like Mike.

Bow Wow to play a thug in “Driving Lessons”

Bow Wow will return to the big screen in his first movie since The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift. In the upcoming indie movie Driving Lessons, Bow Wow will play a wannabe thug who gets caught up in an intricate web of deceit and scandal with neighbors which includes a lesbian high school teacher having an affair with a student, an interracial love affair and a sexually adventurous daughter. Wow…I wish I knew where this neighborhood was! Driving Lessons also stars Selma Blair and Chi McBride and is due to begin filming in Los Angeles in March. Via: Hollywood Reporter

As if we haven’t been exposed enough to Bow Wow and Omarion lately, of all places we can now see them on an upcoming episode of "Ugly Betty." Episode will air in January on ABC and contains edge-of-your seat excitement such as Bow Wow getting stuck in an elevator with Betty and Bow Wow and Omarion performing at a fashion show that Betty is running.
