Famed music photographer Ricky Powell has taken his photos to a new level. Now you can wear them on a series of exclusive tees thanks to streetwear brand Goodspeed. The best of the bunch is the Run DMC tee shown here. No word on availability but I hear they will be released by a Japanese street wear store, sold by a Japanese man somewhere in Japan.

Daz films strip club movie “Make It Rain”

In a recent interview with Hip Hop DX, Daz Dillinger of Tha Dogg Poud fame was tired of waiting for Hollywood, so he decided to make his own movie. "Wouldn’t nobody put me in movies so I went and made my own" said Daz. And the movie he is talking about is called Make It Rain, a strip club tale about an Atlanta commissioner bent on closing down all the strip clubs in town. Movie will go straight-to-DVD. On the other hand, Daz’s partner Kurupt has been in a bunch of Hollywood movies including the upcoming Days of Wrath.

Make music for Paul Wall grills

Paul Wall has partnered up with online music producing site MusicShake.com in an effort to expand his famed line of grills. Who ever makes the best jingle using the Music Shake software for Paul Wall’s grills line will win custom grills designed by The People’s Champ and the winning track will be used on his Get Money TV You Tube channel as well. 50 Cent in MTV “Hip-hop Apprentice” style show

A day after announcing T.I.’s reality show, MTV has now announced an "Apprentice" style show featuring 50 Cent. The untitled show will pit 16 contestants against each other as they compete in tasks that will measure their hustle and grind on…50 Cent style. Each week 50 Cent will eliminate one contestant until he comes down to his "Apprentice" or as I call it, his "ThisIs50.com-soon-to-be gossip editor." Via: Variety

The Game’s new “LAX” album tee

I know The Game is all about Los Angeles pride but I live near LAX Airport and everyone knows it’s one of the crappiest airports around. He should have named his album Best Buy. The one in West LA kicks ass. This is the first tee that The Game will release in conjunction with his upcoming "LAX" album. He will continue to release more official "LAX" apparel closer to street date.

Linkin Park MC Mike Shinoda with art exhibit

Mike Shinoda, the MC of Linkin Park and Fort Minor fame is showing that he is more than just a rock-rapper. Shinoda will be partnering up with DC Shoes and is holding an art exhibit in Los Angeles from July 11th to August 3rd entitled Glorious Excess. Each piece of art on display was created by Shinoda.
